Description:

Position will work under direction of energy management and sales staff to deliver propane and refined fuels to customer's residences, farms, and commercial businesses.

Duties & Responsibilities:

(Included, but not limited to)

• Safely and efficiently operate a commercial motor vehicle to transport propane and refined fuels to customers
• Load and unload products from the vehicle using appropriate equipment
• Plan and execute delivery routes to provide accurate and efficient deliveries
• Ensure accuracy of deliveries by verifying items and quantities before leaving the facility
• Provide exceptional customer service by delivering products in a timely and professional manner
• Use computer for delivery and ticket creation
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
• Keep updated on industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance
• Install fuel pumps and repair petroleum equipment for customers
• Install LP equipment and complete leak checks for customers

Education & Licenses:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience driving commercial vehicles with tanker and hazmat
• Class A CDL preferred, Class B required with: Air Brakes; Manual Transmission; HazMat & Tanker endorsements

Expectations & Qualifications:

• Maintain a positive & professional company image
• Valid commercial driver's license with a clean driving record
• Familiarity with petroleum handling and transportation experience preferred
• Basic computer skills to operate ticket software
• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks such as loading and unloading products
• Knowledge of safe driving practices and traffic laws
• Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate deliveries
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays if required

Schedule:

• Full Time
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Compensation:

• Salary Type: Hourly; Dependent on Experience
• Paid Biweekly
