Description:

Farmers Elevator & Exchange has been providing agricultural products and services to Southeast Iowa for over 100 years. FEE is seeking a motivated individual to join our team to assist with operations in agronomy, grain, feed, and energy at our Wapello facility.
|
|
Duties/Responsibilities:
(Included, but not limited to)
|
- Maintain safe and clean work environment
- Maintain and assist in the operations of the facility
- Perform general maintenance of facility and equipment
- Operate grain handling equipment
- Loading and unloading of grain trucks
- Operate/maintain variety of equipment
- Operate semi & straight trucks to deliver grain, feed, or agronomy products
- Handle dry and liquid fertilizer, and anhydrous ammonia

Education/Requirements:
|
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Agriculture background/experience preferred, but not required
- Pass pre-employment drug screening
- Have valid driver's license with clear driving record
- Ability to:
- Lift up-to 75 pounds
- Climb bins, ladders, & stairs
- Work in dusty and adverse weather conditions and temperatures

Licenses & Qualifications:

- Class A Commercial Driver's License (or obtain with training)
- Air Brakes
- Manual Transmission
- HazMat & Tanker
- Commercial Pesticide Applicator Certification (or obtain with training)
